EnAJUS 2022 accept submissions of the following types of work, which must contribute to one or more tracks of the event:

  1. Empirical work, containing results of empirical research completed, in progress, or under development;
  2. Theoretical essay, presenting an articulated discussion of concepts and theories, with propositions that advance knowledge; or
  3. Technical report on experiences of implementing good management practices or changes in work processes, describing an experience and its practical implications.

Papers must be submitted in two stages. In the first stage, authors will submit an extended abstract, of between 900 and 1,100 words. In the second stage , authors whose abstracts have been approved will submit the complete work, with the following specifications: a) empirical work and theoretical essay, to be between 5,000 and 8,000 words; and b) technical report, to be between 3,000 and 5,000 words. The word count is to include all content, including the title, the references, any appendices, and end-of-text notes.

Abstracts and full papers submitted must have the following format:

  1. Times New Roman 12 font, single spaced, and margins: top and left: 3 cm; bottom and right: 2 cm;
  2. Footnotes should be avoided. Endnotes should be kept to the minimum necessary;
  3. Citations and figures, as well as the list of references and other post-textual elements, must follow the specifications of the American Psychology Association (APA);
  4. Maximum number of five authors per paper;
  5. Written in Portuguese, English or Spanish.

Submission of papers

Extended abstracts. Each author may submit a maximum of three abstracts, regardless of the type of manuscript and position of authorship. To submit the abstract, the author must access the submission system at the following URL: https://enajus.org.br/2022/submissoes. At the time of submission, the author will indicate the type of work (empirical article, theoretical essay or technical report). Authors (including name, e-mail and institutional affiliation) should be identified only in the submission form Authors should not be identified in the body of the abstract, in order to guarantee the anonymity of the evaluation process.

Complete papers: If the extended abstract is selected for presentation, authors must submit the complete paper, in PDF format, free of any kind of password or encryption. The complete work, either final work or work-in-progress, should present the content of the empirical research, theoretical essay or technical report, corresponding to the abstract previously approved. Proposals and presentations must be submitted according to the guidelines specified in this document.

The complete work file, to be submitted only in the case of previously selected abstracts, must meet the standards established for each type of work and have the following content:

  1. Title (identical to the title of the previously approved extended abstract), abstract and keywords in the original language of the text and, where necessary, in English.
    • The title can have a maximum of 12 words, and briefly define the content of the work. The first letter of each word must be capitalized, except for articles and prepositions;
    • Abstract, abstract and/or summary with up to 250 words;
    • Keywords, keywords, and/or palabras clave up to five, separated by semicolons.
  2. Authorship (full name and affiliation of each author)
  3. Theme of interest (according to the list presented under “Topics of Interest”);
  4. Content of the work itself, starting with the Introduction, on the first page;
  5. References;
  6. Appendices, attachments and endnotes.

Evaluation of extended abstracts

The evaluation of expanded abstracts will be performed by members of the Organizing Committee of ENAJUS 2022 in a double-blind review process. This evaluation will take into account the type of text submitted (empirical article, theoretical essay or technical report) and the following items: a) adherence to the event and theme, b) clarity and objectivity in the formulation of the objective, c) contribution to the advancement of the knowledge or to management practice; d) fluidity, articulation of concepts, themes and internal coherence of the text, and e) rationale and scope of the conclusions.
